When I started out in a garage in 2001 as an individual, spending my days in overalls in the workshop and my nights on the computer, I didn’t have much time to think about where I wanted to be with the Company. But from the beginning, I knew I didn’t want to hide behind an inconspicuous company name, so I connected the Company with my name from the start.
We are still a family business and I’m extremely proud of it. Gradually I had, or I have the honour to share the company values with my father, brother, uncle, father-in-law, daughter, and perhaps with other family members in the future. I knew that having an employee is a big responsibility, but having a family member as an employee is an even bigger responsibility. You have to really believe in what you’re doing. But, regardless of family relationships, I have to say that the Company is one big family.
I have always followed the motto that getting someone’s trust is a long-distance run, but losing it is sometimes a question of one single moment. That’s why I’ve only ever promised what I was convinced I was able to keep.
There is no greater reward than people trusting you and willing to join you on one ship.
