Thanks to the support of the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund, we were able to implement the project New concept of modular mould carrier with the registration number CZ.01.1.02/0.0/0.0/20_358/0023626 in the programme Enterprise and Innovation for Competitiveness, whose budget was 489.000,- CZK without VAT, while our company received 75% subsidy in the amount of 366.750,- CZK.
The aim of the project is to design a mould carrier of a new modular concept. The project will design a new mould carrier concept with an emphasis on large representative solutions. The addressed modularity of the new machine will be mainly focused on the drive systems of these machines and dimensional scalability. The proposed design will be verified by detailed structural calculations and not only basic static calculations but also coupled numerical calculations including motion analysis of the mechanisms will be performed.

Development and innovation of mould carrier PEŠEK Machinery s.r.o. |
Project Registration Number: |
CZ.01.1.02/0.0/0.0/20_321/0025040 |
Thanks to the support of the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund, we were able to implement the project Development and innovation of mould carrier PEŠEK Machinery s.r.o. with registration number CZ.01.1.02/0.0/0.0/20_321/0025040, whose total estimated budget is 7.629.151,- CZK without VAT. The project is implemented with a partner - research organization COMTES FHT a.s. The cost of our company is 4.759.646,- CZK, the cost of the research partner is 2.869.505,- CZK. The expected support of our company is 2.901.326,70 CZK and the expected support of COMTES FHT a.s. is 2.439.079,- CZK.
The project is focused on the development of a modular mould carrier system with a focus on higher dimensional moulds. A typical product is a ceiling panel for passenger cars, which is made in a mould that is fixed in the mould carrier. The modularity of the machine will focus primarily on the drive system of the carrier and the dimensional scalability of the machine. The project addresses the problem of modularity in the design of the mould carrier, thus simplifying its production and, more importantly, the cost of development and production of individual components. The appropriate rigidity of the machine, which affects the foaming process and the scrap rate of production, will be maintained.
The aim of the project is to develop a mould carrier design that will allow, with minimal changes, the design of a mould carrier for moulds of different dimensions and weights using the unified components of the modular system.
This will support the competitiveness of our company in the design of new mould carriers, which will not only expand the existing portfolio of machines offered, but above all will allow a more flexible response to customer requirements in the field of basic structural elements and drives of these machines, precisely because the mould carriers will be assembled as modular assemblies.
The project will include the development and research of the carrier design, consisting in the analysis of existing machine solutions, as well as the conceptual design of the modular mould carrier and the specification of the basic technical parameters and their scope. Based on these, a conceptual 3D model will be prepared and strength calculations and analyses will be performed.
After their evaluation, a modular carrier design will be proposed, including the selection of the right type of drive. This will be followed by fabrication of the structural nodes of the modular system, mechanical testing of these structural nodes and their optimization.
At the end of the project, production documentation and supporting documentation for promotional materials will be developed, including operating and maintenance instructions for the equipment.

Digitization of processes in PEŠEK Machinery s.r.o. |
Project registration number: |
CZ.01.4.04/0.0/0.0/21_376/0027609 |
Thanks to the support of the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund, we are implementing the project Digitalization of processes in the company PEŠEK Machinery s.r.o. with the registration number CZ.01.4.04/0.0/0.0/21_376/0027609, whose budget amounts to CZK 2,568,799.50 excluding VAT, while our company received a 40% subsidy of CZK 1,027,519.80.
The project Digitalization of Pešek Machinery s.r.o. primarily addresses the existing issue of enormous time consumption, especially of design and related TPV processes, which is reflected in all phases of the product life cycle, from the preparation of quotations, development of equipment, preparation of documents for production, production planning, production, assembly and shipment to the customer to maintenance and service tasks. Currently, too many routine activities are identified in the enterprise as being handled by employees, which are also at high risk of human error.
In addition, in order to remain competitive, Pešek Machinery s.r.o. needs to continuously innovate its existing products and develop new, often more complex mechanical systems, which cannot be done without appropriate software equipment that enables modelling and simulation of the behaviour of these systems even at the development stage, since the construction of a physical prototype is not feasible in piece production.
Because of the nature of the company's products (size, complexity), the problem of difficult-to-imagine human-machine and machine-machine interactions often arises as well. This manifests itself both during the development of the equipment, when, for example, machine kinematics, ergonomics, material flow or production line tact are addressed, but also in the area of marketing and pre-sales activities, when a potential customer would appreciate the opportunity to become familiar with the machine parameters in detail in the context of their operation.
Another issue addressed by the project is the incompleteness and inconsistency in HR processes, especially in the pre-boarding and on-boarding phase. A new job applicant or employee receives information from many sources, there is no standardised plan for basic training and the process of employee adaptation is often unnecessarily long.
The operation of the above-mentioned software tools is related to the need for an adequate IT structure and HW equipment.
Our company PEŠEK Machinery s.r.o. greatly appreciates this assistance from the European Union and thanks it for its support in its innovation efforts.
The project "Optimization of the forming tools process for profile bending using numerical simulations" is funded by the budget of the Statutory City of Pilsen within the programme of support for cooperation between enterprises and research organizations in the Pilsen agglomeration "Pilsen Business Vouchers", call no. 2022.
The main objective of the project was to design a spatial layout of a new production hall with optimized material flows that would meet the company's needs and enable its growth and development. The focus was on increasing production and administrative space.
